Five Things That Always Make Me Smile at Work
Working at Finestream, every day is different, but the one thing that stays the same is the people. That’s hands-down my favourite part of the job.
As an Executive Assistant, I’m not out there structuring loans or negotiating rates. But I’m always in the background making sure things run smoothly, and that means I get to connect with people from all walks of life. Clients are reaching exciting milestones. Brokers are juggling a dozen moving parts. Partners, lenders, and team members all play a part in what we do, and I feel lucky to be part of it.
Some days it’s a quick call to a client to check on a document. Other times, it’s helping coordinate a settlement or sending a celebratory message when the keys are handed over. I may not be the face you see in the meeting room, but I see the journey and I care deeply about every person on it.
The energy in our team is something I value every day. We support each other, have a laugh when we need it, and genuinely care about doing great work for great people. That energy flows through to every client and every interaction.
It’s the people who make this job special. And I’m so proud to be part of a business where that’s always the focus.
