Matt started Finestream Capital in 2011 following a less than excellent experience when buying a car.
‘I was working for a big accounting firm at the time and remember thinking that if this had happened to me, it must be happening all the time’
Matt set up Finestream to offer simple, honest finance solutions to people buying cars.
‘It was weird that there was no real advice or guidance being given by banks or dealers on what is to many people the second most expensive asset that they would ever buy’
A love of cars made it easier to get the business to catch on.
Saving people time and money on their car purchases by just offering great service seemed simple enough but it was amazing how rare it actually was.
With a strong passion for the business, Matt grew Finestream to be what it is today.
In 2019 Matt was named the National Equipment Finance Broker of the Year at the MFAA Awards of Excellence.
In 2016 Matt was named a finalist for Finsure SA Broker of The Year.
Matt holds a certificate IV in Finance and a Diploma of Finance.
