Let us introduce you to Adelaide Hills Lawns & Gardens (AHLG).
Founded by Jarrad Tait in 2013, AHLG take pride in offering the very best lawn and garden maintenance service.
In 2015, Jarrad invited Luke Timmins to come on as his business partner and this was the catalyst to AHLG enjoying rapid growth and building a stellar reputation for residential and commercial garden maintenance in Adelaide & the hills.
The boys are a formidable team, and great leaders. AHLG now has 46 staff, 5 divisions, and service reputable commercial clients, among them, Outside Ideas, Bird in Hand Winery, The Lane Vineyard, and Resthaven Retirement Villages, as well as maintaining some of the most prestigious residential gardens in the hills.
We sat down with Jarrad and asked him a couple of questions.
What was the tipping point to deciding to start your own company?
There were a few reasons, but mainly to challenge myself, and I aspired to grow a small team where I would treat employees as they deserve to be treated – with respect, kindness, and empathy.
What’s been the biggest challenge of growing AHLG?
Staying ‘ahead of the game’ and keeping things exciting and rewarding for the team.
What’s been your greatest triumph of running AHLG?
Being able to create awesome employment opportunities for over 40 unreal people and seeing them thrive in their roles.
Over the years of working with AHLG we have been so impressed with their hard work, tenacity, vision, and business smarts. Not to mention their quality work, they maintain our garden at the Finestream office, and have done landscaping and maintenance work at Matt & Liz’s home!
